Filch brought Harry, Hermione and Neville to McGonagall where she gave them all detention including Malfoy and took 150 points from Gryffindor for being outside after dark. The rest of the day was awful for Harry and the others as they gotten so many points knocked off Gryffindor in one night and everyone seemed to hate him. Including Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Harry even thought of resigning from Seeker but Wood denied his request. Then a letter came on when to take detention which will be with Hagrid that night.

Filch took the 4 students to Hagrid where they embarked into the Forbidden Forest to search for a wounded Unicorn. As they split up, Harry and Malfoy with Fang walked deep into the forest and found the dead unicorn but something was drinking its blood. Malfoy and Fang ran for their lives while Harry slipped and fell. The cloaked figure came at Harry only to be saved by a young Centaur named Firenze. Harry learned that it was Voldemort that was killing the unicorns to stay alive and it was he that wanted the Sorcerer's Stone.
