It was Easter time at Hogwarts and the teachers were overloading the students with homework. Hermione was hard at work studying and helping Harry and Ron as best she could. They were still worried about Snape and wondering if Quirrell would snap under the pressure and tell Snape what he wants to know. Hagrid then bumped into them in the library and asked them to come visit him later in the day. They had a look to see what Hagrid was doing and he was reading books on... Dragons?

Harry, Ron and Hermione got to Hagrid's hut where he showed them a Dragon Egg. As the days gone by, the egg soon hatched and out came a baby dragon. Hagrid named him Norbert and tried to be a mummy to him. Norbert started to grow fast and soon Hagrid's hut would be too small for him. Ron sent his brother Charlie a letter and he agreed to take the dragon away and raise him in Romania. Unfortunately, Draco peeked in the window and saw the dragon. During the night, Harry and Hermione helped carry Norbert off to the top of the castle under the invisibility cloak. Charlie and his friends came and picked him up, then flew away on their brooms. But only then they were caught by Filch because they left the cloak behind.
