Harry manages to convince the Dursleys to drive him to King's Cross so he could take the train to Hogwarts. Once there, Harry couldn't figure out where Platform 9 & 3/4 was located. Luckily Harry heard the word "Muggle" and he quickly ran over to them which turned out to be the Weasleys. Mrs. Weasley helped him find his way to the train through an invisible barrier that is hidden from Muggles. Harry ended up sitting with Ron on the train and they quickly became friends. During the train ride, they met many students including Neville Longbottom, the Weasley twins Fred and George and Hermione Granger for the first time. He also ran into Draco Malfoy again, but this time accompanied by 2 large boys who were more like bodyguards, Crabbe & Goyle. Once the train reached its destination, the first years were called forward to take the traditional boat ride across the lake. So that they could get their first view of Hogwarts at night! Thus, Harry finally arrived at Howarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry! |
