At the stroke of midnight, it was Harry's 11th birthday. A moment later a giant size man invites himself inside. Harry had never seen him before, but he seemed to know him. The giant gives Harry a chocolate birthday cake with green lettering on it. Harry asks the giant who he is and he replies "My name is Rubeus Hagrid. The Keeper of the Keys and grounds on Hogwarts" Hagrid proceeds to tell him the one thing the Dursley's has kept from him, he was a Wizard. Then Hagrid explains to him about his family and that they did not die in a car crash. Most importantly, he tells him about Voldemort and his scar. This was a lot for Harry to take in at once, but some how he trusts the gentle giant. Hagrid gives him the letter that Vernon has been keeping from him. He reads it. ---Harry Potter, you have been excepted to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry--- |
